Dr. Scanland and staff are dedicated to enhancing your appearance and self esteem. We provide a comfortable setting for you to ask questions and gather information about specific procedures. Each member of our staff will assist you in understanding your choices and attaining your goals.

Dr. Jeanne A. Scanland, a lifelong resident of
Chattanooga, graduated from the University
of Tennessee, Magna Cum Laude with a
degree in Chemistry. She received her medical
degree from the University of Tennessee
Center for Health Sciences in Memphis,
Tennessee.

Dr. Scanland completed a six-year residency in
General Surgery and a two-year residency in
Plastic Surgery at the UT College of Medicine
at Erlanger Hospital. She then completed a
rotational fellowship in Atlanta, Nashville
and Birmingham in cosmetic breast surgery
and breast reconstruction.

Dr. Scanland began private practice in 1991
and founded The Center for Plastic &
Reconstructive Surgery, P.C. in 1993. She has
surgical privileges at all local hospitals and
outpatient facilities.

Dr. Scanland is Board Certified by the
American Board of Plastic Surgery. She is a
member of the American Society of Aesthetic
Plastic Surgeons, American Society of Plastic
Surgeons, South Eastern Society of Plastic and
Reconstructive Surgeons, American Medical
Association, Tennessee Medical Association,
and the Chattanooga-Hamilton County
Medical Society.
